About Our Ministry
Our Purpose
Immersion Ministry is a trauma-informed, non-patriarchal ministry grounded in a constructivist approach to theology. It draws deeply from the incarnation of God through Jesus Christ, viewing His life as a model for engaging in transformative, collaborative efforts to alleviate suffering, heal trauma, and dismantle systems of oppression.
Our work is centered on the belief that the divine resides within each of us and that we are called to channel that divine presence in ways that foster healing, empathy, and justice. We recognize that trauma is a deeply human experience, and our ministry seeks to create inclusive, healing spaces where individuals can confront pain and embrace wholeness.
Rooted in the theological framework of constructivism, we believe that faith and understanding are actively shaped through lived experiences, relationships, and community engagement. Rather than imposing rigid doctrines or hierarchies, we aim to build spiritual meaning collaboratively, allowing diverse perspectives and experiences to inform our ministry's growth.
We are also committed to dismantling systems of oppression that dehumanize and marginalize, promoting justice and equity in every area of life. Our non-patriarchal stance emphasizes shared leadership and mutual respect, striving to uplift voices that have been historically silenced.
Immersion Ministry is a movement of compassion, justice, and deep spiritual engagement—where healing is collective, justice is transformative, and faith is continually co-created in community. Through our partnership with Christ and each other, we aim to create a more loving and equitable world for all
